About the event
This is an invitation to move beyond the traditional gallery-studio space—to commune with the art, engage directly with the artist, and witness materiality and process as part of the work itself.
The natural world remains Ryan's constant collaborator: oxidation, sediment, tide. He grew up on Cape Cod, where the line between land and water never holds still. Salt, wind, and pine were constants; everything else was change. The tide taught rhythm, the woods taught solitude, and together they became my first language. He learned early on that creation and erosion are not opposites, but twins.
Expect an intimate gallery event. Socialize, view Ryan's current collection and get a behind-the-scenes look at his process. This is an invite-only event, but feel free to bring a plus one. Beverages compliments of Alberts Market in Cambridge.
We encourage you to take public transit. The studio is located near Union Square and a short walk from the MBTA station. There is also free lot and street parking.
